PODIUM Connect® is a digital platform developed in Finland for managing and organizing pharmaceutical detailing, medical science liaison meetings and educational events in healthcare.
This versatile solution has been in use for over 10 years by organizations of all sizes in healthcare, the pharmaceutical industry, and the life sciences sector. The service is widely used by healthcare providers such as hospitals, hospital pharmacies, health centers, private medical clinics, and pharmacies.
We have a strong presence in both specialized healthcare and primary care, in both public and private sectors. Tens of thousands of meetings are booked annually through the service, and more than 200 pharmaceutical and life science companies already use it.
We are an industry pioneer and a responsible developer. We continuously develop the service in collaboration with doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and other professionals in the pharmaceutical industry and the life science sector.
How does PODIUM Connect® work?
The calendar-based service helps healthcare organizations manage schedules, and easily find the right experts and contacts within companies and organizational networks when needed.
With PODIUM Connect®, tasks related to presentations, training sessions, and other meetings can be handled efficiently and in a time-saving way. Healthcare organizations can manage their available time slots and define guidelines and booking practices for meetings themselves. Meetings can be held remotely, in hybrid format, or as physical meetings — entirely according to the organization’s preferences.
The service is used by healthcare professionals such as doctors, chief physicians responsible for education, secretaries, main administrators, nurses, and pharmacists.
Pharmaceutical companies, life science companies, and other organizations offering products and services to healthcare can book available presentation slots published by healthcare units and participate in open training applications. Time slots can be filtered in different ways. Search alerts help follow target groups of interest by specialty and geographical area.
Within pharmaceutical and life science companies, the service is used by representatives, medical experts, sales management, bookers, and product managers.
PODIUM Connect® is free of charge for healthcare organizations. The service is available in Finnish, Swedish, and English.
The PODIUM Connect® service is owned by the Finnish company Pharmaca Health Intelligence Ltd.
The company, founded in 1975, is a technology and expert organization specializing in drug information and data-driven management.
Pharmaca produces the national ePrescription Master Data pharmaceutical database for Kela (the Social Insurance Institution of Finland) and is responsible for the medication identification numbers (Vnr) in the Nordic countries.
Pharmaca’s revenue in 2025 amounted to EUR 9 million, and the company employs over 60 experts.
